By December 2020, the tram network will be expanded to the central station. By the end of construction work, the tram line will run from the airport to the \u201c<em>Cloche d&#8217;Or\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As the laying of track gets underway, the bus schedules as well as the stops will be adapting to the works along the <em>\u201cAvenue de la Libert\u00e9\u201d<\/em>, as well as in front of the main station.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdl.lu\/sites\/default\/files\/media\/document\/Plan%20Sch%C3%A9matique%202019%20Mai.pdf\">Schematic plan of the bus lines (from May 5th 2019)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Works will take place starting May 5th between the <em>\u201cPlace de la Gare\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cRue de Strasbourg\u201d<\/em>, until July 2019, and in September another round of works will kick off. Another six months of installation work for the tram will begin in October, lasting six months, with an additional two weeks in April 2020 required for finalisation.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic in the station area has been reorganised since May 12<sup>th<\/sup> to allow the tramway&#8217;s work on <em>\u201cAvenue de la Libert\u00e9\u201d<\/em> to progress. The tram project is currently continuing in the lower part of <em>\u201cAvenue de la Libert\u00e9\u201d<\/em> (section between the <em>\u201cPlace de Paris\u201d<\/em> and the <em>\u201cPlace de la Gare\u201d<\/em>).
