After a complete renovation, City Hotel Luxembourg reopened its doors on June 4th, 2018 at nº 1 rue de Strasbourg – avenue de la liberté, with a new concept, a modern look and a new offer. The association N. Arend & C. Fischbach S.A. managed the renovation of the hotel.

The mixture of the old structure of the building, the classical architecture and the elements with current trends gives a very special charm to the hotel. The rebranding and the new website are finalising the modernisation of the hotel.

Located in the heart of Luxembourg City, all attractions can easily be reached by foot or by using public transport. Findel International Airport is only 9 km from the hotel and the Luxembourg Central Station is only 1 minute walk from the hotel. The station district is one of the most connected areas to the public transport network in Luxembourg City (trains, buses and soon tramways). Thanks to the establishment of many restaurants, bars and shops, the district is in full development.

Spread over six floors, the 32 hotel rooms have been considerably improved and refurbished. The new design of the spaces and interiors with modern and functional sanitary facilities considerably improves the comfort of our guests. The furniture is made of certified sustainable wood. City Hotel Luxembourg adapts to its guests by offering different types of rooms: Single, Double, Double Superior, Triple, Junior Suites as well as communicating family rooms.

To complete its offer, the hotel also offers three modular conference rooms with state-of-the-art technologies that can accommodate 5 to 60 people for seminars, with or without catering.

The essential comfort for a good night’s sleep and a healthy climate is optimised thanks to the complete renovation of the air conditioning, insulation and soundproofing of the rooms.

The hotel has recently been certified with the “Hotelstars Union 3-stars Superior” classification and the “EcoLabel silver”. Being in private hands, the hotel is committed to supporting regional initiatives and diversified local products of high quality and authentic taste. Luxembourg has a wide range of local products: delicatessen products from the “Marque Nationale”, soaps and shampoos from the “Bléi vum Séi” brand, teas from the Haute-Sûre Natural Park “Téi vum Séi”, dairy products and spring waters.

The establishment’s staff offers its respectful clientele a choice of four different cushions to optimize the quality of sleep. To start the day off right, breakfast is served with a coffee made of quality beans and a freshly-pressed orange juice prepared directly by the new citrus press.

The whole team at City Hotel Luxembourg is looking forward to welcoming you!
